England's East Midlands has excellent road links to the rest of the UK. The major north-south motorways run right through the region (the M1 from London to Leeds and the A1(M) from London to Edinburgh) and strong east-west routes are provided by the A14 and the A50.

Businesses based in the region can reach a huge number of customers and suppliers within just a few hours.

Distribution and delivery companies also benefit from England's East Midlands' fantastic position within the ‘golden triangle’ of the M1, M6 and M69 motorways, with 89% of the country just four hours' truck drive away.

Our central position puts us within easy reach of major UK cities including Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and London. For example, London is less than an hour from Northampton, while Birmingham is less than an hour from Derby.
