Speedo International is the world’s leading swminwear brand and has its global head quarters in Nottingham. All their activities are carried out in Nottingham, from R&D through to design, development, sales and marketing. This includes their Aqualab team who works to continually push the boundaries of sport science and technological innovation to create leading edge swimwear, equipment and apparel. Aqualab works with experts from diverse industries including aerospace, engineering and medicine, as well as leaders in sports science, fabric technology and garment construction. One of their star product is the Fast-Skin LZR Racer which was worn by athletes from 130 countries at the Sydney Olympic Games, who went on to winning 80% of the medals, setting 13 out of the 15 world records from these Games.
