A company which develops clean power systems has completed its move to new premises.
Intelligent Energy has relocated from the Innovation Centre at Loughborough University to a new site at the nearby Holywell Park, in the town.
The firm, which employs more then 100 staff, is involved in the creation of a range of clean power platforms based on fuel cell technology.
The company's products are used in the automotive, aerospace and power generation sectors.
The move to new premises will eventually create 130 jobs, the company said.
It received a grant of £800,000 from East Midlands Development Agency last year to support the relocation.
The £8.5 million factory will be installed with a production line incorporating robotic technology, engineering test rigs and measurement equipment, IT and communications systems.
Dr Henri Winand, Intelligent's chief executive, said: "Intelligent Energy has reached an exciting stage in its growth.
"The move to Holywell Park allows us to better serve our blue chip business customers and partners and up the tempo of our commercial activities significantly as a result."
The business started as a spin-out from Loughborough University in the mid-1990s.
